Steerable Track Kits from Gramlow Ltd.
Steerable track kits from Gramlow Ltd. will minimize pinch rows and keep your planter tracking straight. Complete bolt-on kits are simple to install right on the farm by the farmer. Tracks offer more than double the footprint of your 4 tires and only leave two tracks through the field. They will sometimes make up 4 times the surface area of the 4 tires on your planter. Use the steerable axle with GPS guided implement steering to keep your planter directly on top of strip-till strips, or keep guest rows perfect for post-emerge chemical or fertilizer application without driving on the rows. Axle spacing and track width options available to get you the kit that fits your needs.

Soucy S-TECH 012P
Now is time to think about the upcoming planting season! The S-TECH 012P is compatible with 12 to 24 row John Deere 1770, 1775NT and 1990CCS planters. By using Soucy Tracks, John Deere planters benefit from a better soil contact surface — a surface five times as large as that for tires. In addition, reduced ground pressure allows users to greatly increase their productivity while loading their equipment up to the maximum load capacity. Tracks for corn planters increase flotation, reduce soil compaction and preserve soil structure. As a result, with more aerated soil, crops benefit from better rooting and growing conditions.

Schaffert Mfg. 4 Link Closer™ Closing Systems
Standard swing arm tail sections allow only 4 inches of travel up and down. Schaffert’s 4 Link Closer™ offers up to 9 inches of travel, keeps the closing wheels parallel to the seed trench at all times, eliminates planter bounce in the field, lets you run less down pressure, enables faster planting speeds, gives more even depth control and better seed-to-soil contact for even emergence. The 4LC fits most double disc opener planters and comes with ground attachments for V closing wheels, the G2™ fertilizer disc and the NEW G3™ walking beam arm. The walking action of the G2/G3 arms closes the seed furrow better and helps eliminate air pockets.

Schaffert Mfg. G2™ Liquid Fertilizer Disc
The G2™ fertilizer disc applies larger quantities of nitrogen fertilizer behind the planter, 2-4 inches to the side of the row. This 8- or 9-inch single disc opener adds only 11 pounds per row. Its patented walking beam design places balanced pressure on both press wheels in closing the seed V and even depth of fertilizer in uneven terrains. Schaffert’s new low/high pressure fertilizer bracket for new and existing G2s pivots 40-degree in and out from center so you can control where the fertilizer is injected. Also new is a heavy duty rubber boot to help eliminate fertilizer on the row unit. The G2 fits most planters.

RK Products Closing Wheel Arm Pivot Kit
The proven RKP Gauge Wheel Arm Pivot Kit for planters was adapted to John Deere no-till drills in 1999. With this design, the closing wheel arm is clamped to the bearing housing with enough controlled pressure that lateral looseness is eliminated, yet the arm can pivot freely. Disc springs (Belleville washers) are utilized to permit this. The new design shown incorporates a thread deforming locknut to provide a stronger attachment and also simplifies spring pressure adjustment. Sleeve bearings and seals are also available.

Copperhead Furrow Cruiser Xtreme
The Furrow Cruiser Xtreme is a cast spiked closing wheel that is made for the toughest of conditions. The wheel has angular teeth that will break up sidewall compaction and close the furrow. The extra weight will help the wheel to penetrate tougher field conditions. The width of the wheel will help with firming of the soil around the seed and will prohibit the wheel from rooster tailing or moving the seed.

Schlagel Case IH Conversion Kit
Our Case Conversion Kit converts your Case IH planter’s single press wheel to a dual closing wheel design and allows you to run our Posi-Close planter closing wheels. The rubber wheel is normally associated with the seed trench crusting and baking, or simply opening back up when used in wet soil. Posi-Close Planter Wheels will leave soft mulch on top of the seedbed to prevent crusting and baking. Posi-Close Wheels will not leave any smearing or extreme compaction, and will destroy side wall compaction. Also pictured is our No-Till Gauge wheel to help reduce side wall compaction and mud buildup due to the fingered wheel design that fractures the side wall allowing the seed V to be closed easier. Posi-Close wheels are also available for John Deere, Kinze and White planters.

Pro-Stitch Closing Wheels
Pro-Stitch closing wheels were designed by no-tillers like yourself who needed to solve problems closing the slot and getting consistent seed-to-soil contact. Pro-Stitch closing wheels use a unique stitching effect to close the seed trench. They tuck soil firmly against the seed by stitching a seam and operate with minimum down pressure for any field condition to reduce sidewall compaction. Models are available for Deere, Case IH, Kinze and White planters; John Deere 60 and 90 series drills; and Case IH PD500 and SDX series seeders.

Aricks of Australia
Exapta is pleased to offer another top-notch product from Aricks of Australia, where ruggedness is taken to an extreme. These row cleaners have a proven, 10-year track record in Australia, and we’re proud to be the exclusive distributor in North America. While sharper opener blades and waiting for the mulch to dry each morning can take you a long way in preventing hairpinning a row cleaner helps you out if the mulch is simply too thick to cut, or waiting for it to dry isn’t practical. Aricks row cleaners are also a big advantage when seeding very shallow, such as alfalfa or canola, where it’s difficult to make the opener blades cut the residue. They handle hemp, field pea, soybean, faba bean and flax residue without much issue, as well as stripper-harvested cereals. A jacker bolt allows control of the max down-stroke. When not needed, the cleaner is easily pinned up

Ag Focus Fast Trac Press Wheel
A bigger corn harvest starts with optimum seed-to-soil contact at planting. Nothing delivers that better than a press wheel. Not chains, not conventional closing wheels, nothing. A press wheel seals the seed trench, without sidewall compaction, retaining the humidity and providing ideal seed-to-soil contact. That leads to faster seed germination and earlier, more even emergence. And that leads to bigger, more uniform ears for more Yield!
