Case IH is releasing two new boom styles and a new tank option available on the Patriot 4440 sprayer. By increasing the size of the tank and the length of the booms, and reducing the overall weight of the sprayer, operators can make the most of application windows.
“We consistently hear how producers are looking for ways to cover more acres per pass,” said Mark Burns, Case IH application equipment marketing manager. “When application windows narrow and every minute in the field counts, these new designs give operators the capacity they need to achieve high-efficiency application.”
Made of aluminum, the new factory-installed boom options are lightweight, yet durable, and come in 132- and 135-foot sizes — the widest booms available on the Patriot 4440 sprayer. These new booms are designed to help operators cover more acres per pass, and when equipped with the AIM Command FLEX advanced spray technology, deliver the right rate and droplet size across not only the entire boom but also the entire field. The design maintains the accurate and consistent application that operators of the Patriot series sprayer have come to know and rely on.
A 1,600-gallon tank option further improves productivity and allows producers to spend more time in the field. The combination of longer booms and larger capacity, along with available precision agriculture technology options, further enhance the efficiency, accuracy and productivity of the Patriot 4440 sprayer.
