Crystal Green (5-28-0 with 10% Mg) is the only granular phosphate fertilizer that releases nutrients in response to crop demand. With its unique organic acid solubility, delivering phosphorus plus magnesium and nitrogen, Crystal Green enables growers to do more with less, achieving higher yields with fewer inputs and reduced environmental impact.
Strip-Tillers Share Pictures & Videos of Their Rigs
Gavin Spoor posted a simple request on X last week: “Show me pictures of your strip-till rig.” He asked, you answered. The responses are still flooding in with pictures and videos of strip-till rigs from across Strip-Till Nation.

Strip-Till on Pace to Become “Predominant Tillage Program” in Minnesota
Warren Formo, executive director the Minnesota Agricultural Resource Center, has noticed a growing interest in strip-till in his state. In fact, he believes it could soon become the system of choice for most farmers in Minnesota. “Estimates suggest that strip-till acreage is growing at more than 5% per year and is on pace to become the predominant tillage system in Minnesota in the next two or three years,” he says in this FarmProgress article.

Soybean Record-Breaker Humbled by 206-Bushel Yield
Smithville, Ga., strip-tiller Alex Harrell shares his thoughts on the news of his record-breaking soybean yield of 206 bushels per acre. Harrell used a Schlagel Rapid-Till strip-till machine, cover crops and spraying drones to keep his crop “pumped up” during the growing season.
Still a surreal moment yesterday. I’m beyond humbled by this & can’t thank everyone involved enough. Twitter limits me on characters so I can’t name everyone but they know who they are. I couldn’t be more excited for the future of agriculture. Here’s to a world record!https://t.co/IU5UsqZvYA

Strip-Till Pays Off for Irrigated Seed Canola in Canada
Check out this feature story on John Kolk, one of a handful of farmers using strip-till in southern Alberta. “Between spring cover crops and strip-till, I think you are going to see more strip-till in the irrigation area. I think it’s an option that works. It takes a little bit of time, it takes investment, but you got to keep investing to figure out what you are going to do next and do it well,” he says.

New Strip-Till Equipment Introduced at Farm Progress Show
Strip-till was hot at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Ill., last week. Several companies introduced new equipment, including the Fast DuraPlacer strip-till toolbar from Yetter and Fast Ag Solutions.
