The 11th annual National Strip-Tillage Conference will be held in Madison, Wis., at the Marriott Madison West Hotel & Conference Center Aug. 8-9, 2024. The focused 2-day program covers a myriad of topics for profitable results in strip-till farming, including precision technology pay-offs, equipment setup tips, cover crops, soil testing and fertility strategies, economic analyses, soil biology and more.

“Ann Marie Journey presented at our field day, and in 10 minutes she taught us more about corn rootworm than any retailer has ever taught us in our life,” says Jon Stevens, Rock Creek, Minn., strip-tiller. Journey, an independent soil, wetland and stream health evaluator and founder of EntoVentures LLC, brings her wealth of knowledge about the “billion dollar bug” to the National Strip-Tillage Conference with her classroom session, "How to Make Your Operation More Rootworm-Resilient.

Journey, who conducted extensive research on corn rootworm, insecticides and herbicide-tolerant and rootworm-resistant corn at the Univ. of Minnesota, shares critical information strip-tillers should know about corn rootworm, and ideas that could make your operation more rootworm-resilient.
