Orthman Manufacturing announced the appointment of Ron Cox as Product Specialist for the southern United States. Cox will provide technical support and training to the Orthman dealer network, helping to train their staff and customers on the operation and benefits of Orthman products and precision tillage.

Cox comes to Orthman with tremendous agriculture and product experience, including a regional sales manager position with Topcon Precision Ag, and 15 years with Wylie Manufacturing in Lubbock, Texas, where he served as service manager and most recently sales manager for Case application equipment.

"Ron has been involved in all aspects and manufacturing and distribution, and we are excited to use his expertise in application and precision ag equipment," said Gary Mohr, Global Product Marketing Manager for Orthman. "His experience with Wylie and with Topcon Precision Ag will continue Orthman?s mission to provide the world's best precision tillage and innovation." said Mohr.

Ron grew up on the family farm near Matador, Texas and then attended high school in Bryan, Texas. Ron received a Bachelors degree in Range Management from Texas Tech University. He and his wife, Lauren, live in Lubbock with their son Riley.
