Jan 31st, 2025, I may never forget this. Been doing March beans since 2018. Never had a March bean ave under 75. Asking these beans to sit for 3 months, conditions were beautiful. Frost is at 2.5-3 in. Planted 3.5 acres at 140k at 2-2.25 inches. If you don’t try you won’t know!… pic.twitter.com/DjGI9gYIRm

Strip-Tiller Named Top Producer of the Year Finalist
Iowa strip-tiller Mark Hanna is featured in this Farm Journal article. Hanna is a finalist for the 2025 Top Producer of the Year award. “They’re just really good people to work for,” says Larry Severson, a long-time employee. “I mean, they’re very innovative. They try new things like the strip-till. We were the first ones in this area to make that leap. And they went headfirst into it, and it worked out really well for them.”
