Jeff is the senior writer for the Iowa Soybean Association, reporting on issues within the soybean industry, specifically for the Iowa Soybean Review magazine as well as online articles for the ISA website. A native of Vinton, Iowa and a graduate of Iowa State University, Jeff previously worked more than 25 years in newspapers, having reported and edited at newspapers in Nebraska, Texas and Indiana. In Iowa, he most recently served as the editor of the Marshalltown Times-Republican and the Ottumwa Courier. Having covered a variety of news topics for ISA as well as his past newspaper experience, Jeff has received a number of accolades from his peers for writing and editing.
